The HX 1700 embodies DT's Hybrid mission: a wheel designing project tailored for the challenges of heavy-duty E-MTB use.
The heart of these wheels is a custom version of DT's famously dependable 350 hubs. These have been optimized for E-MTB with 24-tooth ratchets and oversized hub shells for better load transfer.
The welded alloy rims feature reinforced spoke beds, designed to resist fatigue and handle high loads over extended periods.
The straight pull spokes are Hybrid specific, featuring an oversized 2.35 mm hub interface to protect one of the key stress points on any wheel.
A DT Swiss Hybrid certified wheel must pass stringent testing: survive 50% more life cycles, endure 20% higher load tests, and handle almost twice the maximum load of a standard wheel. This is certainty you can rely on.
While intended for E-MTB use, the Hybrid range is perfect for larger riders, bike packers, or anyone wanting a ultra-durable wheelset with a high weight limit.
Offered in a 30 mm internal width to accommodate modern high volume trail tires.
The system weight limit is 150KG, and it comes with DT tubeless rim tape and valves included for convenience.

This includes adjusting saddle height, saddle position and where possible adjusting the brake levers / gear shifters.

We will also adjust any accessories you have purchased with your bike where applicable.

Free 6 week service (at your nearest store)

When you buy a bike from us you will get a free service at your nearest Bicycle Chain store within 6 weeks of taking delivery of your bike.

The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.

The type of bike you have bought and the type of riding you have planned will affect how soon you need to book your free service.
