The Pirelli Cinturato Velo is a tubeless-ready clincher tyre that prioritizes protection and comfort without sacrificing performance. Pirelli's expertise and the reliable SmartNET Silica technology, combined with the comfort and resistance of the Armour Tech technology, have resulted in a clincher tyre with a unique DNA that is perfect for long distances and various terrains. The Armour Tech construction (patent pending) is built with several components that enhance the tyre's performance and durability. These components include a high-density nylon layer from bead to bead that provides protection against cuts and improves stability at low-pressure riding. Additionally, the nylon layer contributes to airtightness when used with liquid sealant. The tyre also features a high-density waved aramid fiber breaker belt beneath the tread, which offers protection against punctures and sharp objects. Aramid fibers are dispersed into the tread rubber compound (SmartNET Silica) in two layers. The outer layer (cap) provides excellent performance in dry and wet conditions, as well as mileage and contact feeling.
