Campagnolo Super Record 11Speed RD18-SR1 2018 Rear Derailleur Short Cage

The Super Record is the top model of the long-established Italian company Campagnolo and embodies technical precision, speed, lightness and great looks.

The revised Super Record 11-speed rear derailleur keeps up with the times and features the Campagnolo HO geometry (Hydraulic Optimization) to optimize shifting performance in combination with modern disc brake frames.

Thanks to the special shape of the upper derailleur body, Campy’s 11-speed HO rear derailleurs are compatible with all quick release skewers and thru axles available on the market.

Besides, it facilitates wheel replacement significantly – an advantage even riders of traditional rim brake systems will benefit from.

The extremely stiff carbon cage and redesigned pulleys with high-performance ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth, fast and incredibly precise shifting, as well as a low weight.

Completely new design: The new shape of the external components enables the rear derailleur to move according to a different angle and the new internal design keeps the chain nearer the cassette to ensure better power transmission, greater and more secure traction, a better chain/sprocket interface and greater durability of components subject to wear and tear.

· USB™ Ultra Smooth Bearings: Ceramic deep groove ball bearings for extremely high smoothness

· Embrace Technology™: A special chainring positioned inside the gear body allows the component to move along a trajectory that perfectly follows the curve of the sprockets

· Upper and lower derailleur body made of monolithic technopolymer with carbon powder for low weight and high resistance

· Carbon fibre cage for high stiffness, precise positioning and lightness

· Parallelogram with Ultra Shift™ geometry and external carbon fibre cage plate
