Supercaliber 9.8 is a cross-country racing bike developed for podium-topping World Cup speed. Its category-defining setup features our exclusive IsoStrut integrated shock and a lightweight FOX Performance 32 Step-Cast fork for a capable ride that's flat-out fast and soaks up technical terrain. And it's trimmed with some of the best mountain bike components you can get, including a Shimano XT drivetrain, wider Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 carbon wheels and a Bontrager carbon seatpost and handlebar.

An ultra-lightweight, full OCLV Mountain Carbon frame with 60mm of travel, a 100mm FOX Performance 32 Step-Cast fork with GRIP damper and Trek's exclusive IsoStrut FOX Performance shock designed specifically for Supercaliber. Plus, dual remote suspension lockout, a Shimano XT 1x12 drivetrain, Bontrager Kovee Elite 30 carbon wheels with 54-tooth Rapid Drive rear hub for fast engagement, Shimano Deore XT brakes and a carbon seatpost and handlebar.

Supercaliber's unique frame design ditches traditional suspension hardware so there's less weight, less maintenance and less lateral flex. IsoStrut connects the mainframe to the pivot-less seat stays to offer about 60?mm of rear wheel travel. This design offers a unique blend of efficiency, traction and fatigue-fighting compliance that keeps racers fresh and in control.

IsoStrut
IsoStrut integrated suspension gives you just enough travel to stay in control. It's fully tunable like a standard rear shock, but without the weight penalty of a full suspension bike.

OCLV Mountain Carbon
Trek's mountain-specific carbon is engineered to withstand the extreme demands of off-road racing. Advanced analysis allows our designers to create a frame with the best blend of light weight, responsiveness and just enough compliance in the seat stays to eliminate the need for a heavy rear pivot system.

Straight Shot w/Knock Block
Trek's Straight Shot frame design optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio for a more responsive ride. You'll be able to push harder and stay more planted on your line when the going gets rough.

This includes adjusting saddle height, saddle position and where possible adjusting the brake levers / gear shifters.

We will also adjust any accessories you have purchased with your bike where applicable.

Free 6 week service (at your nearest store)

When you buy a bike from us you will get a free service at your nearest Bicycle Chain store within 6 weeks of taking delivery of your bike.

The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.
