Remedy 7 is a mountain bike built for mountain towns. Our best-value Remedy has all the performance features you could want for a ridiculously fun time on the most technical trails. A long-travel 160 mm RockShox fork, 150 mm rear suspension, dropper post and an 12-speed drivetrain tick all the all-mountain boxes.

Every ride is break time. You've graduated Mountain Biking 101, and now want a real trail bike you can throw around - one that's not shy about trying new lines, leaving the ground and clearing obstacles. You want a solid parts group and a durable frame, and you want it at great value.

A durable and lightweight Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame, 160 mm RockShox 35 Gold fork and 150 mm of rear travel. Plus, dependable SRAM NX 12-speed drivetrain, SRAM Guide T hydraulic disc brakes, a dropper post and Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels with a 54-tooth Rapid Drive hub for fast engagement.

The frame is trustworthy and the parts are solid. But what really makes this bike great is that it handles and rides like a bike that costs twice as much. That's because it's designed the same way as our top-end Remedy: for a playful ride you can count on when the trail gets rowdy.
- Remedy 7 combines an ultra-capable frame and shock with tough, no-fuss parts that keep the stoke high and the cost low
- 29er wheels are great for other people, but 27.5? wheels are livelier and more fun on rugged trails
- The shifter-style, underbar remote dropper post lever is super intuitive and easy to use
- You get a Straight Shot down tube for extra stiffness in the rough and Knock Block frame defence to protect against spinning bars and fork crowns

Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.

Straight Shot w/Knock Block
Trek's Straight Shot frame design optimises the stiffness-to-weight ratio for a more responsive ride. You'll be able to push harder and stay more planted on your line when the going gets rough.

Will my bike have a curved top tube?
Smaller frames (S) have a top tube that dips down as it approaches the seat tube. This design makes for a lower standover height, which is good for shorter riders because it allows them to straddle their bike more easily. The larger frames (M and ML) have a straight top tube because taller riders with longer legs typically don't have the same issues with standover height.
