The 40-Series from Cane Creek is a reliable and durable headset suitable for all types of bikes. This series is crafted with the perfect balance of performance, durability, and value. The 40-Series features the new ZN40 bearings, which are zinc-coated and made with machined steel and hardened steel balls. These bearings are highly resistant to corrosion, resulting in a longer lifespan for the headset.The 40-Series headset is machined from high-quality 6061 T-6 Aluminium, ensuring its strength and durability. Its innovative Clip-Seal design completely seals the top assembly and captures the compression ring, reducing the number of loose parts. The headset also features low friction face-seals, a durable steel crown race, and dependable ZN40 sealed bearings.Additionally, the 40-Series headset is compatible with an interlock spacer. Its stack dimensions are 9mm for the upper and 1mm for the lower. The headset is available in a sleek black color. It weighs 71g and comes with a 1-year warranty (excluding bearings).

When you buy a bike from us in the store or come to collect your Click & Collect order we will adjust your new bike to fit you.
This includes adjusting saddle height, saddle position and where possible adjusting the brake levers / gear shifters.
We will also adjust any accessories you have purchased with your bike where applicable.
When you buy a bike from us you will get a free service at your nearest Bicycle Chain store within 6 weeks of taking delivery of your bike.
The free service is put in place to make sure the bike you have purchased is running correctly and to adjust out any cable stretch that happens to any new bike.
The type of bike you have bought and the type of riding you have planned will affect how soon you need to book your free service.
However if you experience any issues at any time you should stop riding your bike and book your bike in for its free service immediately.
