The Defy Advanced Pro 2 strikes the perfect balance between stiffness and compliance, assuring smooth and speedy trips even on difficult terrains. It boasts ground-breaking technologies including a D-Fuse carbon seat post and handlebar; these components work in harmony to reduce jarring road shocks, ensuring a comfortable ride. Additionally, the Advanced-grade carbon composite frame is fully prepared for disc brakes, with flat-mount disc brake tabs and 12mm front and rear thru-axles, plus clearance for high-volume tyres. It comes with an oversized, tapered OverDrive 2 steerer tube to enhance cornering accuracy, while the MegaDrive downtube and PowerCore bottom bracket ensure precise handling and superior pedalling efficiency.

Engineered Compliance

Giant's Advanced Carbon Composite frame is expertly designed for optimal endurance road riding, ensuring less rider fatigue on long adventures. Working in sync with the frame, the D-Fuse seat post and handlebar system insulate riders from road shocks and heavy vibrations.

Total Control

To bolster road control, Defy Advanced Pro 2 offers flawless disc brake integration, including flat mounts and 12mm front and rear thru-axles, which deliver consistent braking power for greater security and confidence.

Versatility in Variety

Whether smooth tarmac or rugged country lanes, the bike's endurance road geometry, increased tyre clearance (up to 35c), and disc-brake integration empower you to navigate a wide range of terrains and conditions.

Key Technologies
Advanced Composite Technology

Giant's premium carbon material is used in crafting this exceptional frame in their in-house composite factory, offering a perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio. Using a unique method called Modified Monocoque Construction, the front triangle of these framesets is assembled and moulded as one continuous piece.

Compact Road Design

Brought to life in the 1990s by Giant and professional Team ONCE. Compact Road changed high-performance road bikes forever, providing smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, rigid bike, and assuring a perfect fit for riders of all sizes.

OverDrive 2

Giant's most advanced steerer tube technology offers unrivalled front-end steering performance. The system's oversized headset bearings and tapered steerer tube work together to deliver formidable steering stiffness.

D-Fuse Technology

Designed to function as a system, the D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar absorb road shocks and vibrations, enabling you to ride farther, faster.

RideSense

A wireless data transmitter, right on Giant's chainstay. It sends wheel speed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.

Tubeless System

Experience fewer flats, greater traction, less rolling resistance, and smoother, faster rides with Giant's Tubeless System.

Whether you're participating in cycling events or simply enjoying a solo ride, the Defy Advanced Pro 2 serves as an excellent companion. Attempt longer distances, pursue greater speeds and redefine your cycling experience with this feature-packed road bike.
