Dear Specialized Rider,
We are voluntarily recalling two-piece slotted cranks originally equipped on select 2019 and 2020 Sirrus and Sirrus X Models (purchased between approximately September 2018 and June 2020):

AFFECTED MODELS:
If you own any of the following 2019 or 2020 Sirrus or Sirrus X models, please stop using it immediately and bring it to your nearest Authorized Specialized Retailer.

The bike family name (“Sirrus†or “Sirrus Xâ€) is written on the toptube and the model name (e.g. “3.0â€) is written on the seatstay of your bicycle. For more information on how to determine whether your bike is affected, please visit your Authorized Specialized Retailer or go to www.specialized.com/safety-notices.
Cranks may not have been installed to factory specification. You may lose control and fall if the non-driveside crankarm disengages while riding.
WHAT WILL SPECIALIZED DO FOR AFFECTED RIDERS:
If your cranks are affected, your Authorized Specialized Retailer will re-install them to factory specification at no cost to you.
